Anthony hails from Detroit, Michigan, and was influenced by immigrant family members who realized the “American Dream” within decades of their arrival in the United States of America. The freedom for all who strive to create a better future through pursuing “Their Entrepreneurial Aspirations, Dreams and Opportunities” represents humanity’s most successful driver of positive change benefitting the most people.

In 1976, my studies concluded at the University of Bologna and the Johns Hopkins SAIC Graduate Center in Bologna, Italy. In early 1977, having earned a general studies degree from the University of Michigan (U of M) Ann Arbor, I joined the Credit and Lending Training program at the Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC and soon transferred to Caracas, Venezuela as a lending officer in 1978.

While in training in NYC in 1977 and early 1978, I became aware of the then-emerging venture capital and private equity investment management industry. I analyzed it diligently while lending money to multinational subsidiaries and entrepreneurial family group growth companies in Venezuela. By late 1978, I sought to transition from Commercial Banking into Alternative Equity Investment management.

In September of 1979, I had the good fortune to initiate a relationship with New Court Securities Corporation, renamed Rothschild, Inc. in 1981, which was a pioneering firm in Alternatives Investment Management, having launched New Court Private Equity Fund in 1967. Joining New Court in early 1980, I was immediately engaged in learning corporate finance and investment banking, venture capital, buyout investing, and public market money management, which were three core business lines of the firm. I also assumed CEO responsibilities for a Rothschild family-owned operating company requiring restructuring and turnaround, which I led for three-plus years.

As a team member of New Court and Rothschild, Inc., Michigan Capital, and Service, and Edelson Technology Partners from early 1980 to April of 1988, I was directly involved in many emerging growth companies, initial public offerings, several buyouts, board of director representation, company dispositions and acquisitions as well as interim executive roles and co-creating strong investment performance for these firms owners and investors as well as investing actively for my personal account.

Over the years, I have contributed to corporate banking and finance, co-founded and restructured businesses, and provided advisory services to start-ups and established companies. My skill set includes multi-stage equity investing from seed to growth equity, buyout origination, operational consulting, and interim senior management services. These efforts have contributed to the growth of these companies and their resilience in the face of challenges.

Following ten years in the finance and investment management industry, I founded Endeavor Capital Management Holdings, LLC, in April 1988 as a family office and boutique venture capital management and merchant banking enterprise. I had earned capital as an individual investor in approximately thirty alternative investments that I made using my own money between mid-1980 and April 1988.

Today, Endeavor Capital Management Holdings, LLC (ECMH), a private investment firm, and its team of partners are not just a company but an entrepreneurial community. ECMH provides guidance and capital, focused on supporting entrepreneurs and their teams while protecting their and ECMH’s investor capital to attain strong risk-adjusted returns for all involved.

As the CEO of ECMH, my primary focus is on our investing clients and our portfolio company teams. I am committed to supporting them in pursuing their dreams and providing them with the guidance and resources they need to succeed. My leadership style fosters an environment of mutual respect and collaboration, where the exchange of ideas from all team members contributes to our collective success.
